Roller Coasters! ( 6th - 8th grade )
A Period Section: 9:15 AM - 10:15 AM
Students will get hands-on experience with building roller coasters using K'nex building kits. Students will move from small ramps to a larger structure with loops and hills throughout the week. Fun with physics!
Building Challenge ( 6th -12th grade )
B Period Section: 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
In this hands-on class, students will get to use physical science concepts to build structures such as towers, bridges, and maybe even a catapult. Throughout the week, students will get to do three different projects using the basics of the engineering design process.
Ceramics ( 6th - 8th grade )
C Period Section: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Spend a week learning the basics of hand-building with clay. Students will complete a few unique projects and get experience with glazing their finished pieces. At the end of the week, students will even get to work on the pottery wheel.
