Senior, Bineta Diatta is currently playing for the U18 Senegal National women's basketball team! Bineta has been an instrumental member of the Priory girls basketball team and helped them to make it to the NorCal championships last year.
Priory Theater is proud to present an original multimedia performance, “Pieces of Our World,” and “Alone, Together,” a collection of scenes and monologues written for Zoom.
During the first few weeks of school, over 350 students received take-home kits to assist them during distance learning at Priory. Teachers prepared 35 different types of kits!
The talented Priory Residential Faculty (RF) have gotten creative while the dorms are currently closed for the semester due to Covid-19. In a stress-free way to get to know one another, the RFs are offering a range of free and fun activities just for the boarding students.
Founded in 1957, Woodside Priory has always housed an exciting boarding option for grades 9-12. Today, many of our day students enter as sixth graders, graduating after seven life-changing years at the Priory.
Even more than academics, we wanted our children to know who they are and have the time to explore themselves. During the admissions process, Priory convinced us they felt the same way. Still, when our family joined the community, we experienced Priory's commitment and approach beyond our expectations.
Priory is my home away from home. Even across classes, grades, and sports teams, the feelings of inclusivity and community are always present, allowing me to be myself at all times.
Throughout my middle and high school years, countless Priory faculty and staff members were always there for me. Perhaps more remarkably, they have continued to offer guidance, celebrate my accomplishments, and whole-heartedly support me in the decade since.
As we have learned how to reorganize our lives into a new normal, each day often presents us with a new set of challenges. We are all lucky to be here, on Earth, in this wonderful community. We could call this type of change and rebirth - awareness and reflection - awareflectness.
Every day I learn new ideas that reinforce who I am. I learn about our true meaning and how we can show mercy and love to all. I've learned more about myself here because Priory reinforces learning and growth.
