About

Monastic Community

Father Martin Mager, OSB

"Almost 1,500 years ago, Saint Benedict wrote a small book of rules for monasteries. It is about building communities whose members support each other in their search for God. It is still the goal we seek every day in this school community."
The Benedictine values of community, individuality, integrity, spirituality, and hospitality underlie a Priory education and the entire atmosphere of the campus.

Saint Benedict's rule teaches that "all are welcome with honor and respect." The Priory community believes in the importance of religious diversity among the students and the faculty, and in developing a student's spirituality within their family's faith.

Sunday Mass is offered for neighbors to the campus, and all are welcome.

The Chapel Community and Chapel Friends have a long history with and many ties to the school, and their presence is valued by the school community.
