A Period Section: 9:15 AM - 10:15 AM
Grow confident in your imagination and create hundreds of characters, scenes, and situations collaborating with others in the class. Tons of different ways to make characters, locations, and even short plays will be explored, along with many games and exercises to grow you as an improviser.
Power Positivity & Play ( 6th -12th grade )
B Period Section: 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Confidence in one's voice, physicality, personal confidence, and power can be transformative. Equally transformative can be a positive, resilient approach to challenges and a strong sense of play and fun. This class will grow the personal expressive power of students, equip them with practical tools from the world of Positive Psychology to thrive in challenges, and try all of it out in creative games and exercises. Fun while growing and thriving is our goal.
Mastering Monologues ( 6th -12th grade )
C Period Section: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Must-have skills for auditions and rehearsals; learn to make solid creative choices quickly and confidently in scenes and monologues. Many short 1-4 minute scenes and monologues will be explored, and students should feel rock solid in taking on their next show.
