Student Community: A small school by choice and design.
Students come from: In addition to the nine San Francisco Bay Area counties and the Monterey Bay area, students hail from all over California, New Jersey, East Coast, Austria, Bulgaria, China, Germany, Hungary, India, Japan, Korea, Lithuania, Malaysia, Nigeria, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, South Africa, Vietnam and more.
25% of students identify themselves as persons of color, multiracial, or international students with foreign student visas.
15% of faculty and administration are persons of color. An additional 3% (Caucasians) emigrated from other countries.
About 6:1 including student support staff (such as non-teaching advisors and coaches). Student to full-time-equivalent faculty is about 9:1
