Meet the Admissions Staff
Just about everybody has questions, and we are here to answer them.
Al Zappelli, Director of Admissions and Financial Aid, deals mainly with our Upper School admissions (Boarding and Day) and financial aid. Al travels abroad every year to meet prospective students and families, and to re-connect with alumni and Priory families around the world. Whether you are contacting Al from a few blocks away from the campus, or another part of the world, he looks forward to meeting you.
If the Middle School is your interest, Carole Mauss, our Associate Director of Admissions, will help you. Carole's office is a well-known hangout for sixth, seventh and eighth graders. Carole runs our Shadow and Open House programs and can answer specific questions about visiting the Priory.
Camille Yost, Admissions Associate and mom to four Priory alumni, will guide you through procedural and paperwork questions. You will see Camille at a variety of campus events (especially performing arts), and if you want some general information about what Priory life is like, ask Camille!
Cherie Baylis, Admissions Associate, is new to the Priory this year and is the person who will welcome you when you call the Admissions Office. Cherie is no stranger to independent schools, having had two sons graduate from a bay area independent school.
Our Admissions Office is a hub of student activity in Founders Hall where students and parents are always welcome.
