Biography:
I attended San Jose State University for my undergraduate degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. I have earned a Masters degree in Education from National University.

I most enjoy spending time with my wife and three daughters. We are big fans of the beach. I have taken up photography in the past three years and also enjoy backpacking, woodworking, surfing and any team sport you can think of.

I was selected as Educator of the Year at Rogers Middle School in 2001 and received the St. Stephen Teaching Award here at Priory in 2006-2007 and in 2004, I coached Woodside Priory's 2004 CCS Championship team. I started college as a Music major and actually earned a music scholarship.

What excites me most about teaching is how natural and right it feels for me. While many people may be frightened away by a room of twenty seventh-graders, I am actually excited to be in that situation every day I come to school.

My favorite quotes are:
"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." -Nelson Mandela

"Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared." - Buddha
