Biography:
I grew up in Kansas and graduated from Stanford University with a BA in Science, Technology & Society and a MA in Sociology.

From 2001-2004, I worked at Priory as a Residential Faculty member, taught Middle School Health and Physical Education, and coached Cross Country and Track & Field. After leaving Priory, I moved to New York to attend Columbia Law School where I was a Revson Public Interest Fellow and Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.

While in law school, I represented children in cases involving special education, juvenile immigration, neglect and abuse, and foster care. I also assisted the U.S. Attorney's Office in the investigation and prosecution of crimes against children, and worked for the Drug Enforcement Administration investigating money laundering and drug-related crimes.

Prior to returning to the Priory to become the Dean of Residential Life, I was an attorney in the Litigation department at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, LLP in New York.

In my free time, I enjoy running, cycling, swimming, and being outdoors in general. I have competed in 10 triathlons, though I've now"retired" to focus on running again.
